Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Yield Land ("we", "us", and "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you access or use Yield Land, our websites, mobile apps, desktop apps, APIs, checkout flows, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

Yield Land may publish additional privacy notices, app-store disclosures, cookie notices, or product-specific supplements that apply together with this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on which Yield Land features you use, what you choose to provide, and which integrations are enabled for your account or plan.

  • Account and identity data, such as your name, email address, phone number, login credentials, profile details, and identifiers returned by social sign-in providers.
  • Transaction and subscription data, such as plan selections, checkout session details, receipt status, renewal status, billing country, and payment metadata provided by processors or app stores.
  • Content and communications, such as messages, profile updates, support requests, contact-form submissions, waitlist or email-capture entries, chat content, and files or media you submit through the Services.
  • Device, diagnostic, and usage data, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, app version, device identifiers, referral URLs, attribution parameters, pages or screens viewed, interactions, and crash or error logs.
  • Preferences and consent records, such as marketing choices, analytics consent, cookie settings, language or region preferences, and saved session settings.

Information From Third Parties

We may receive information from third parties when you sign in through social-login providers, purchase through a payment processor or app store, interact with marketing campaigns, or use third-party integrations connected to the Services.

Depending on the project configuration, these third parties may include payment processors, app marketplaces, identity providers, analytics vendors, advertising partners, cloud hosting providers, email delivery providers, telecommunications providers, messaging vendors, or customer-support tools.

How We Use Information

We use personal information to operate, secure, maintain, support, improve, and market the Services, and to meet legal and contractual obligations.

Where required by law, we rely on one or more recognized legal bases, including performance of a contract, your consent, our legitimate interests, and compliance with legal obligations.

  • Provide authentication, account management, profile features, purchases, subscriptions, support, chat, call, and other core product functionality.
  • Process transactions, verify payments, prevent fraud, enforce plan limits, and maintain billing and purchase records.
  • Respond to inquiries, send service notices, security alerts, receipts, product updates, and customer-support communications.
  • Measure usage, analyze funnels, troubleshoot bugs, monitor performance, and improve product reliability and user experience.
  • Personalize content, remember settings, and, where permitted, run marketing attribution, remarketing, or campaign measurement.
  • Comply with law, enforce our terms, protect rights and safety, and investigate misuse of the Services.

Cookies, Local Storage, Analytics, and Advertising

We and our service providers may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to keep the Services running, remember your settings, understand usage, and measure marketing performance.

Some analytics, session-replay, and advertising technologies are only activated after you provide the required consent. You can manage available cookie and privacy preferences through the consent controls provided in the Services.

We do not sell personal information for money. Depending on your jurisdiction and which integrations are enabled, sharing identifiers and usage data with analytics or advertising partners may be considered "sharing" or targeted advertising under applicable law.

  • Essential technologies used to authenticate users, prevent abuse, secure sessions, process forms, and maintain core functionality.
  • Analytics technologies used to measure traffic, page or screen views, conversions, feature usage, attribution, and product performance.
  • Marketing technologies used, with consent where required, to attribute campaigns, build audiences, and measure ads on platforms such as Meta, Google, LinkedIn, or similar providers.

How We Share Information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients when reasonably necessary to operate the Services and our business.

  • Service providers and contractors that help us with hosting, infrastructure, analytics, authentication, payments, billing, email delivery, messaging, customer support, crash reporting, security, or other operational functions.
  • Advertising, analytics, and attribution partners when those tools are enabled and used in accordance with your consent choices and applicable law.
  • Business counterparties, affiliates, or professional advisors involved in financing, audits, insurance, legal compliance, or corporate transactions.
  • Government authorities, regulators, courts, or law enforcement when we believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Services.
  • A successor or acquirer if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, asset sale, or similar transaction.

Payments, App Stores, and Third-Party Platforms

Payments may be processed by third-party providers such as card processors, digital-wallet providers, or app stores. We generally do not store full payment-card numbers. Instead, we typically receive limited transaction details, such as payment status, subscription status, billing metadata, and receipt identifiers.

If you use social sign-in, app-store purchases, analytics, saved-search features, or other connected third-party services, your information may also be processed under those providers' own terms and privacy notices. We encourage you to review those materials directly.

Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain legitimate business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.

Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the sensitivity of the data, the feature involved, user account status, contractual commitments, and legal requirements. We may also retain aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, security, or product-improvement purposes.

International Transfers

The Services may be operated from and hosted in multiple countries. Your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or accessed from jurisdictions other than your own, including jurisdictions that may not provide the same level of legal protection.

Where required, we take reasonable steps intended to support lawful transfer mechanisms and protect personal information during international processing.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. However, no internet or software system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, uninterrupted availability, or that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed without authorization.

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials, devices, and backups, and for using the Services in an appropriately secure manner for your own risk profile and compliance needs.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights regarding your personal information. These rights are not absolute and may be subject to identity verification, exemptions, and other limits permitted by law.

  • Access, correct, update, or delete certain personal information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
  • Withdraw consent for optional processing where consent is the legal basis.
  • Opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe mechanism in those communications.
  • Manage cookie, analytics, and marketing preferences through available consent settings.
  • Request a copy of certain personal information in a portable format, where applicable.
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe your rights have been violated.

Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under the age at which personal-data processing requires parental consent in the relevant jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us unlawfully, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to review and address the situation.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Services, applicable law, our practices, or third-party integrations. The updated version becomes effective when posted unless a later effective date is stated.

Your continued use of the Services after an update takes effect means you acknowledge the revised Privacy Policy to the extent permitted by law.
